Well I went to the hospital on Tuesday night and it was manic up there, the maternity A&E was overflowing. I was seen after an hour, which wasn't to bad, but the doctor on call was after getting called away to an emergency Cesarean. Also they had no beds available in the hospital, so my option was to wait two hours at the earliest for the doctor and then sit in the waiting room for the night with a drip. It turns out I have a kidney infection on top of the sickness, so that might be why I needed to sleep so much.
I decided to go back home, I had to sign a waver to say I was going home against medical advice, but to be honest if I stay I'd have been ten times worse by the morning. So I said I'd come back the next day for a few drips,, but yesterday I was soooooooo sick and there was no way I was up to driving. I phoned the hospital and told them I'd go up today instead. So that is what I'll be doing today. I have my knitting ready, so I'll have something to pass the time.
Isaac really wants to come with me, he wants to see what a drip is like!!?? So Bronwen said she will come with me and she can take him across the road to the shopping centre when he gets fed up. I'm sure the Doctor's and Nurses will be trilled to answer his 100's of questions LOL!!!!! I think it will be good for him to see what happens to me when I go to hospital and that it isn't really all that bad. I just hope I get a doctor who can find a vein easily, so I don't have to grit my teeth and smile through to much lol!!!!

Sorry to hear you're still as sick, Tigger. Hope you get out quickly tomorrow and back to the usual routine. It's good that the kids are off school now - I'm sure it makes things easier. How long to go now?
Julie
Roll on your Due Date Tigger so you can get his bundle of joy in your arms and all this sickness will be gone. xx
